This Korean Beef dish is a similar to bibimbap. Bibimbap is served over rice with several vegetables and meat on top. When I tried Bibimbap it had carrots, cucumbers, greens, and sprouts served over rice.
I used brown rice noodles with cucumbers, and peas. I seasoned my ground beef with Korean flavors.
My late husband was in the army and traveled all over the world. He had the opportunity to try several types of cuisine. He wanted to take me to try Korean food, but I wasn’t sure I would like it.
We went to a little Korean restaurant and ordered some take out. The food was amazing! It was spicy, but at the same time it left you wanting more. Korean food tastes similar to Chinese food, but I thought the Korean flavors were better.
